MEP Projects Engineer

We are looking for a skilled MEP Projects Engineer to oversee the design and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, substations, fire systems, water supply, drainage). The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, optimize system efficiency, and manage project budgets effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Design and implement mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, Electrical (Sub Stations, HV & LV Panels), fire systems, water supply, drainage systems etc).
• Conduct load calculations for heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Create technical drawings and system layouts using CAD or BIM software.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems within the project design.
• Oversee MEP system installation, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety codes.
• Perform testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of installed MEP systems to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring MEP works are completed within financial constraints.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Develop energy-efficient and sustainable MEP solutions to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.
• Prepare reports, technical specifications, and as-built documentation for MEP systems.
• Provide ongoing maintenance recommendations and support for MEP systems post-installation.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
