Qualifications
* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
* NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent recognized HSE qualification.
* Minimum **3–5 years of HSE experience** in construction, infrastructure, or marine projects.
* Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, OSHAD requirements, and AD Ports HSE procedures.
* Familiar with Risk Assessments (RA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Method Statements, Permit to Work (PTW), and incident reporting.
* Experience conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, HSE inductions, and safety training.
* Ability to investigate incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
* Good understanding of environmental protection, waste management, and emergency response procedures.
* Good communication skills in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an advantage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HSE reporting.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the HSE Manager in implementing the Project HSE Plan.
* Conduct routine site inspections and report unsafe acts and conditions.
* Deliver HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety awareness sessions.
* Monitor compliance with project HSE requirements, PPE usage, and Permit-to-Work procedures.
* Assist in preparing Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and JSA reviews.
* Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and environmental events.
* Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, training records, and safety statistics.
* Coordinate emergency drills and support environmental compliance activities.
* Ensure subcontractors comply with project HSE requirements.
* Promote a positive safety culture and support the project's Zero Harm objectives.
